Citrus Trees Unavailable for Sale

Citrus trees are unavailable for sale throughout most of the county due to the discovery of Asian citrus psyllid. The Asian citrus psyllid is an aphid-like insect that feeds on the leaves of citrus trees and other citrus-like plants. It can be a carrier of the fatal citrus tree disease, Huanglongbing, also known as HLB and citrus greening disease. At the time of this posting, Walter Andersen Nursery is awaiting word from the California Department of Agriculture for treatment protocol of citrus inventory. Once those protocols are established for retailers, and the treatment is made, our current inventory in both stores will be available for sale.

Product is Discontinued

Ortho has discontinued Crabgrass Killer in concentrate form. While Ortho’s Ready to Use is still available, gardeners wishing to use a concentrate should switch to Bayer Lawn Weed & Crabgrass Killer.
