Ceramic Pot Sale in Time for Spring

Both stores will have a greater number of ceramic pots in stock the beginning of April just in time to go on sale! For the month of April, selected glazed, terra cotta pots, and Mexican pottery will be marked 20% off.

We'll have an assortment of sizes and shapes in spring colors, the always favorite ‘Oxblood’, and multi-colored drip style pots. As always, Walter Andersen Nursery will be happy to drill holes in your pot if they aren't already there to ensure adequate drainage.

Not sure what container will suit your needs? Just bring a photo of where you'd like to put the container and we can offer advice for choosing the right size, shape and color and help you with plant selections.

Cooking Demonstration

Join us at our Poway location to sample Baby Back Ribs cooked in our Orion Convection Cooker. This new item is part of our selection of Outdoor Living grills and accessories and cooks like you wouldn't believe! Its simple operation is nearly fool proof. Prepare and season the food you wish to cook, fill the drip pan with water, add wood chips if you want a smoky flavor, load up the cooker with your food, put the lid on then light it! You can leave it alone until it’s time to remove the food after the recommended cooking time. You can cook six full racks of ribs in about 1 1/2 hours! There is no need to worry about annoying flare ups as the food never is in direct contact with the charcoal! You can even cook a 20 pound turkey in a little over two hours without gallons of hot oil or risk of oil fire!

As a special on Saturday, if you purchase an Orion Convection Cooker you will receive a bag of charcoal and bottle of lighter fluid FREE with your purchase.

Ribs samples will be served at 11 AM after the Garden Class until they are gone– in Poway only.
