Palm Springs Style Gardening by Maureen Gilmer makes low-water gardening easy. It's not all cactus and palms, but features a wide variety of desert plants, trees & shrubs that shower the landscape in candy-bright blossoms, interesting textures, and sculptural forms.

You'll find 'top 10 plants' and style guides that show how outdoor desert gardens may be designed to enhance the appeal of many diverse architectural styles, like those found in the neighborhoods of Palm Springs.
