This Year's SD County Fair...

Once again, Walter Andersen Nursery is an exhibitor at the San Diego County Fair. This year's theme for the fair is 'Ride the Tide to Fun'.

The nursery designed a magical fairy garden full of color and surprises as seen through the eyes of a child who lives in a world where everything is black and white. Incorporated into the display was artwork from artist Suja Pritchard who also has pieces available for sale at the nursery's Poway location (12755 Danielson Ct.). The art in the exhibit will be available for sale once the fair concludes its run.

If you would like to attend a workshop taught by Suja, several will be held on the following dates: July 15 begins a two-part workshop that allows participants to sculpt and paint furniture. A $15 materials fee applies. Part two of this workshop will be held on July 22. On Sept. 16, Suja will teach participants to make a coil terra cotta pot. A $20 materials fee will be charged.
